EuroLanguages - Learn languages abroad

EuroLanguages.com is my latest and greatest Expression Engine powered website.

Although the site looks simple on the outside, the backend has a fully featured admin control panel that allows administrators to modify and moderate every aspect of the site.

I developed 12, yes twelve, custom add-ons to allow complete flexibility of the system. Some examples include:

  • Multi-language module that allows for multiple languages in both templates and weblog entries
  • Currency exchange rate module that gets live exchange rates in over 30 currencies
  • School stats module that provides language schools with detailed account statistics
  • IP filter plugin that prevents users in some parts of the world from making payments in order to avoid potential fraud
  • Redirect plugin that redirects users to different parts of the site depending on their member group
  • The loop plugin that is available on this site
  • The session variables plugin that is available on this site

Concept

Until today, finding a place on a European language course was tedious and time consuming, and searching online wasn't helpful. There were thousands of results for any given destination, without any indication as to which one was best. For those who persisted in the search, the only available options were confusing school sites with no online booking facility, or agencies that charged exorbitant service charges. Until now that is. EuroLanguages offers students simple tools to find, compare and confirm language schools and courses from all over Europe using independent student reviews and ratings as a guide. With a simple two step booking process, and a 20% deposit to confirm a place, there is simple no better option for booking a language course.

Hi - great site - really clean and effective.

Any chance of you releasing (or selling) the multi language module you developed? (I have a similar need in a different context).

Hello,
How far are you with the multi-language module? For us, this might be the most wanted module for EE ever and we would make you a rich man by adding it to almost all of our future projects.. :-)
Let me know soon please, you have my email.
best regards,
Tim.

Hello Ben,
thanks for the fast response. We're currently in the design phase of a new project, is there a way we can have a preview of it functionalities?
Sorry for pushing,
