iWebApp Beta
This is my latest idea for an ExpressionEngine add-on which i would like to share with the EE community. before i continue developing i would like to hear what you guys think.
I'm sure there are lots of cool things that could be done with such an add-on, so watch the screencast and if you are inspired then leave any comments or feedback here or at this EE forum thread.

You can see a live demo at http://www.putyourlightson.net/dev/index.php/iphone (try it on your iPhone!)

Excellent Idea. But, I don't see why you would need a module to accomplish this. Or, will you provide us a way to retrieve information from expression engine for parsing and display in a native iphone app? (also can be accomplished via RSS) Anyhow, bridging the gap between two great pieces of technology is always welcome.

thanks for the comment.
the only alternative is to hard-code the html pages. the module simplifies the process and makes it available from within EE.

i'm afraid to say that due to other projects that have been eating into my time lately, as well as less enthusiasm than hoped for from the community, this module has been shifted down in my list of priorities. if the situation changes then i will let you all know.
apologies but thanks for your positive responses!

I'd like to chime in and say that this sounds like a great and useful idea for an ee addon. If I understand the functionality properly from the demo it would seem that the iPhone content is being kept separate from other ee content. I'd like to see a way to repurpose existing ee content to be delivered on the iphone.
I hope you reconsider and pick-up this great project again. I certainly would use it on iSawYou.com
